We hope not. A free check is always going to be limited in scope, but we’ve designed ours to actually benefit small businesses.
For example, we focus on high-impact factors that will have a meaningful impact on how search engines and humans interact with your site. We also ask for view-only access to your Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster, and Google Analytics accounts, which lets us deliver a properly informed analysis. Most importantly, we’ll detail what you need to do to improve your site – and explain what all our recommendations mean in a complimentary 20-minute call.
We don’t use LLM chatbots like ChatGPT or Claude. LLMs are probabilistic, which means they’re essentially calculating the most likely response based on their training data. In other words, they’re guessing what needs to happen to your site – which may or may not be correct.
Instead, our free website checks are conducted by human analysts (from our SEO and content teams) using industry-leading tools like Semrush, Lighthouse, and Screaming Frog.
As part of your free website check, we’ll look at data from Google Search Console (GSC), Bing Webmaster Tools (BWT), Google Analytics (GA), and Microsoft Clarity.
If you don’t have those platforms set us or don’t feel comfortable giving us view-only access, we’ll simply omit that platform’s data and any dependent analyses from your free report.
