How long does it take to see results from Google Ads?
One of the big advantages of Google Ads is that you can see results almost immediately. Generally, though, campaigns take 30–60 days to be fully optimised. During that time, we’ll gather data and fine-tune your campaign setup. Google’s Ads algorithms also need time to adjust.
Keep in mind that timeframes also depend on your chosen keywords and business category. For example, a local business bidding on a highly competitive keyword might take longer to see optimal outcomes than a service business in a high-demand category.

We generally recommend starting with an ad budget of $1,000–$2,000 per month. (That doesn’t include setup and management fees.) It’s a relatively small investment that lets us validate Google Ads as a marketing channel for your business. Once we’ve proven your campaign’s effectiveness, we’ll typically recommend scaling it by reinvesting a portion of your Google Ads-sourced revenue.
Is $10 a day enough from Google Ads?
Generally, $10 a day won’t be enough to get results for most Gold Coast-based businesses. We recommend a starting budget of at least $1,000 per month ($33 per day), although we’re always happy to talk through your business’s specific situation. Why is Google Ads charging me?
If you’re seeing unexpected transactions from Google Ads, it’s probably because you have a Google Ads campaign running. Google Ads will bill you on the first day of each month and once your account reaches a certain amount of ad spend (known as a payment threshold).
If you have multiple accounts and aren’t sure which one is being charged, check the ‘Your billing document is ready’ email that you should have received. You can then click ‘View your documents’, which will take you to the account in question.
