This is very exciting news for the team here at iOnline, and hopefully for many of our clients, who will now have access to a broader range of service offerings and design talent than what we previously had available.
On 1 July, 2014, iOnline acquired the brand, trademarks and client files of Miss Blossom Design. Previously owned by Blossom Graphic Design Pty Ltd, which was liquidated, these assets represent years of glamorous, feminine design work created for fashion brands, niche retailers, beauty salons, cosmetic companies and other female-focused businesses from all over the world.
The acquisition helped to increase iOnline’s portfolio of clients by approximately 100, while also extending our reach internationally, since many of Miss Blossom Design’s clients are based in the United States, Canada, Dubai, the United Kingdom and elsewhere. The handover process we had with the former owner of the brand was extensive and involved us working through her briefing routine, design process, sources of inspiration, style libraries and much more. This has helped the team here at iOnline to gain a tight understanding as to what is involved in delivering charming, feminine, boutique-style design material of varying forms.
Since Miss Blossom Design’s digital and website work primarily revolved around WordPress and BigCommerce, we’re also now able to extend those offerings to our iOnline clients.
This exciting new business division has also seen our team expand to suit the skill base required to service the niche Blossom clientele. We have continued to employ the specialist BigCommerce developer who worked with the previous Blossom team and have also brought two new team members on board, designer Vera Gavroliva and admin superstar Melissa McDonald, to help position this new design division for big things.
